PAIN-FREE DENTAL TREATMENTS WITH ANESTHETIC

The fear of dental treatment is widespread. Studies show that around 1/3 of patients suffer from moderate anxiety, and more than 10 even have panic symptoms. As a rule, this leads to an avoidance of the situation, i.e. necessary regular appointments with the dentist are not kept. This usually results in a deterioration in the dental situation. Dental diseases such as caries, gingivitis or periodontitis and their consequences can arise / increase.

Painful dental treatments are a thing of the past. However, many patients are still plagued with fears. The treatments are absolutely painless for you – modern dentistry makes this possible. When one speaks of anesthesia, one means a sleep-like state in which the patient is put into the lungs by inhalation or by injection into the bloodstream by means of an anesthetic. Even after an operation, there is no pain that cannot be controlled with common medication. For anxious patients and children, nitrous oxide sedation is possible, which guarantees a painless procedure. All dental and surgical interventions can be carried out under sedation (twilight sleep or partial anesthesia) as well as under general anesthesia. The decision depends on the specific situation and your own preferences.
